STAYING IN SHAPE AT ANY AGE

If your just beginning an exercise program, rehabilating an injury, or have never been very active then here are some basic foundations to starting a workout program.


The first, and most important foundational aspect of any exercise is to understand the importance of maintaining a 'neutral spine' throughout the movement. This goes for older adults or top-level athletes. Keeping a strong core supports our back and builds a solid foundation for movements whether they are basic or advanced. It all begins with the first movement...the Pelvic Tilt.
