But It Tastes So Sweet...

Hey guys, here's a important diet tip on something called HFCS.

What is HFCS ?

Well it stands for HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, a very common sweetener...and it tastes great!

Chances are your consuming it and not even knowing it.

So what's the big idea, rightl?

Well, according to several studies in '08, High Fructose Corn Syrup or HFCS has the same effect on Obesity that gasoline has on a fire!

Without getting too scientific here....

Consuming large amounts of HFCS makes your body resistant to something call 'Leptin'..
which regulates your bodies metabolism & appetite.

As you consume HFCS it makes your body almost impossible to burn off body fat!

Not surprisingly, all research has shown that as the rate of this corn syrup rose in the U.S., so did obesity.

Don't be fooled by the "sugar free" ad when it's using this syrup to sweeten it's product.

This sweetener is found in everything from baked beans, pickles, bbq sauce, wheat thins, and many, many more...

Contact me if you'd like a more detailed list.

  1. I've learned to look at the label. Most products that DON'T contain HFCS it will say so on the front of the label/packaging in easy-to-read print. If the product does contain it, however, it will be listed (in small type) under ingredients.

  2. I am all over this bro. You will find that almost every food that we consume has HFCS in it. It takes a little work to avoid it, but it can be done. I know there is a huge debate over whether or not it is healthy and experts on both sides argue that the scientific evidence has no merit.

For me, if it is that big of a debate, then it is best for me to avoid it. I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Be sure to know what to look for on the labels. It is better to stick with 'organic' because the FDA regulates it as opposed to the word 'natural.' If it is 100% organic, you can be assured there is no HFCS.

Almost all fast foods contain it, so your best bet is to cook for yourself. You can't trust what people are putting in your food these days.
