FASTFIT RECIPE OF THE WEEK: QUESO BLANCO WITH NOODLES

Halloumi/Queso Blanco with Noodles- Females (men, simply double the serving sizes of all protein and fat sources)

INGREDIENTS

2 oz. of Halloumi or Queso Blanco for frying, cut into large cubes or slices
1 Package of Shirataki Angel Hair
1⁄2 Red Bell Pepper, sliced
1⁄2 Green Bell Pepper, sliced
1⁄2 Yellow Bell Pepper, sliced
1⁄2 Onion, cut into chunks
1 Cup of Mushrooms
2 Cloves of Garlic
1⁄4 Cup of White Wine
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Italian Spices (I love Pasta Sprinkle from Spice House in the Public Market)
Non-Stick Olive Oil Spray

DIRECTIONS

Spray a large skillet with the non-stick spray over medium heat. Add cheese to pan.
Once browned on one side, flip over the cheese. Add all the peppers, onions, garlic
and mushrooms. Pour the white wine into the pan. Prepare noodles according to
package directions while the veggies cook. Once the veggies sweat and are cooked,
but are not soggy, add the noodles to the pan. Sprinkle the Italian spices to taste. Use
a large fork or tongs to mix everything together. Enjoy.

  1. Hey Jeff,

Where can you get these noodles?? At the regular ole kroger? Also what do you think about Soba noodles? I keep reading lots of health blogs about them too! But I hear you have to get those at specialty asian markets.
