FASTFIT RECIPE OF THE WEEK: ZONE CHILI



INGREDIENTS


2 cups chopped onions
2 cloves chopped garlic
2 2/3 teaspoons olive oil
8 oz. thin sliced lean beef or turkey or chicken
3/4 cup canned kidney beans
1 1/2 cups chopped tomatoes
1 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup water
2-6 tablespoons of chili powder (according to taste & tolerance)

DIRECTIONS

1) Saute' onions and chopped garlic in olive oil
2) Add meant and continue to saute' until browned
3) Add kidney beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, water and chili powder
4) Simmer to desired consistency, add salt to taste and enjoy!
