I'm joining forces!
It's been a very quick & exciting story, but after being approached over the holidays to help launch a CrossFit program in central Arkansas, I've been more motivated than ever to get the new year kicked off. With a chance to join with the very best trainers in the state and train at a first class facility, it was an offer that no doubt came from above. It also allows me to bring my brand of training partnew with some of the best minds in the fitness industry. But first the basics.

CrossFit is a national fitness organization that has become the premier virtual community for fitness training with a following that has grown worldwide. CrossFit's strength and conditioning program is so highly regarded that it is currently being used by military, policeman, and elite athletes worldwide. Although Crossfit is utilized for the very highest level of athletic training, it's also scalable for all ages and all fitness levels.

One of the exciting things about the CrossFit program is in it's versatility. With classes as CrossFit Gymnastics, CrossFit Kids, and the CrossFit courses and certifications, it provides such a wide variety of areas of personal growth and development. I recently just met with Tracy McNeil who will be heading up our CrossFit kids program. She does an amazing job and has the passion for preparing the future generation for greater fitness and health. I'm excited to partner with her and learn more about how to more effectively battle this increasing trend of obesity in our nation's youth.

Now for those of you who categorize yourself as "hardcore" let me introduce you to The CrossFit Games, maybe one of the most interesting part of the CrossFit community. This is a 3-day competitive event that brings together some of the most fittest athletes to compete in various workouts done within CrossFit. Participants train year round for this grueling event. If your ultra-competitive your going to LOVE this!

If you'd like to learn more about CrossFit you can check out our brand new site at or the national website
