FASTFIT MOVE OF THE WEEK: THE HINDU PUSHUP
This 4000 year old exercise has been used for centuries by ancient Indian wrestlers to build upper body strength and endurance. The range of motion that is used within this movement is excellent to stretch and strengthen the hips, shoulders, and back. As well as being a great fat burner to add to your workout.
The normal movement of the Hindu pushup is a pushup position with a high arc. Begin by divebombing first the face, then chest, and finally the stomach. Complete the move by straightening the arms and arching your back.
To advance the move add the Reverse Hindu Pushup for an incredible full-body, strength-building move.
As always, consult with a physician before beginning any fitness program.
