ROASTED PUMPKIN SEEDS
If your looking for a healthy alternative for Halloween this year here's an easy to make option and all you need is a pumpkin!
Directions
1) Use cold water to rinse the pumpkin seeds until all of the pumpkin meat is off. ( Important because the pumpkin part will burn )
2) Place the seeds on a baking sheet that has been coated with Pam 100% Natural Olive Oil cooking spray.
3) Sprinkle with your favorite low-sodium seasoning (cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. )
4) Preheat your oven & bake at 300 F for 40-45 min stirring & shaking them every 10 min to prevent burning.
5) Let cool and then enjoy!
Microwave Option:
If your running short on time you can place them in the microwave for 2 min, stir, and put them back in for another minute. Stir every minute until crispy.
