FASTFIT RECIPE OF THE WEEK: HEALTHY GINGERBREAD MEN










INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4 cup butter (I use Earth Balance butter spread...it has no trans fats)
  • 3/4 cup Organic Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
  • 2 Egg Whites
  • 1/3 cup Dark Molasses
  • 1 & 1/2 cup All Purpose Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 & 1/2 cup Organic Rice Protein Powder- vanilla or more flour.
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 3 tsp Ginger
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp All Spice
  • 1/4 tsp Cloves

DIRECTIONS

Combine ingredients in a large bowl.

Chill dough in fridge for 2 hours.

Preheat over 35o degrees.ÿ Roll out dough and cut into gingerbread men with a cookie cutter.ÿ Place on non-stick baking sheet and cook for 10-12 minutes.
